Your role

As our Operations Controller, you will be responsible for the transparency and steering of our plant’s performance. Your mission is to turn data into actionable insights.

  • Production Steering & KPI Management: Monitor and analyze OEE, scrap rates, rework, output per shift, and machine downtimes. You will be the owner of our "Shopfloor Reporting."
  • Operational Analysis: Identify bottlenecks and analyze standard cost variances. You will propose concrete measures to improve performance.
  • Strategic Support: Act as a key partner to the Plant Manager. You will prepare decision-making data for shift models, capacity expansions, and CAPEX investments (Make-or-Buy).
  • Planning & Forecasting: Collaborate with Financial Controlling by providing crucial operational inputs for forecasts and month-end closings.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in Lean, Kaizen, and 5S projects.
  • Cross-Departmental Controlling: Oversee logistics KPIs (inventory levels, OTD, transport costs), quality costs, and HR-related metrics (FTE, overtime, fluctuation).

Your profile

  • Analytical Mindset: You love numbers, but you love the stories behind them even more.
  • Operational Focus: You are comfortable spending time on the production floor and communicating with shift leads and engineers.
  • Governance & Integrity: You ensure that group standards are met and have the courage to intervene when deviations occur.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel is a must. Knowledge of Lean Management principles is a significant advantage.
  • Proactive Approach: You don't just report problems; you bring solutions and track their implementation.
