R&D Manager

Your role
- Define, develop, and implement the technological and product roadmap for their area of expertise.
- Lead the design and development of new products, as well as the continuous improvement of existing solutions.
- Coordinate and support a technical resource, defining priorities, objectives, and development plans.
- Manage the R&D budget associated with projects and activities within the assigned product line.
- Collaborate with the international Technology Team to define development strategies and introduce new technologies.
- Lead product development projects from the conceptual stage through final validation and industrialization.
- Coordinate development and update technical documentation, construction drawings, and bills of materials.
- Use SAP to manage technical data and product information.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute product testing, validation, and qualification activities.
- Directly participate in practical laboratory activities, functional testing, performance verification, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with the Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure the proper industrialization of developed solutions.
- Provide specialized technical support to internal functions and customers, including in international contexts.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with budget, timelines, and technical requirements.

Your profile
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnical Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Experience developing new products and improving existing products.
- Experience coordinating technical resources and project activities.
- Ability to read, interpret, and develop technical documentation and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of low, medium, and/or high voltage electrical systems (MV/HV preferred).
- Good knowledge of product validation and industrialization processes.
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English.

- Proven experience in R&D and electrical design.
- Experience managing complex technical projects.
- Experience in multinational companies or in structured and matrix environments.
- Experience defining technology roadmaps or product development plans.
- Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes.
- Experience managing technical or investment budgets.
- Project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Familiarity with SAP and/or ERP and PLM systems.
- Strong focus on innovation and the development of new technologies.
- Problem solving and critical thinking, with a structured approach to analyzing and resolving technical issues.
- Adaptability and flexibility in managing constantly evolving priorities and requirements.
- Availability to travel nationally and internationally for technical support, project activities, and collaboration with global teams.
