Electrical Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Your role
- Develop and optimize existing products to meet global market requirements.
- Design and develop specialized link boxes and related components for high-voltage underground cable systems.
- Adapt and customize products according to customer-specific and country-specific requirements.
- Maintain and expand technical expertise in electrical and electromechanical components.
- Coordinate testing activities, including electrical and water immersion tests, working closely with one laboratory resource.
- Support root cause analysis, failure investigation, and corrective actions related to product performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Production, and Project Management to ensure successful product delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, reliability, and cost optimization.
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in electrical design engineering; experience gained through internships or academic projects will also be considered for junior candidates.
- Knowledge of medium-voltage (MV) and/or high-voltage (HV) underground cable systems is highly desirable.
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor is considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within an international team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills in both Italian and English, written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
